Fertility Screening

Undertake a pre IVF fertility screening so that your doctor can assess your fertility :

1. Blood Test

Female

• Important blood test for female hormone levels (AMH), which is used to accurately detect a woman’s ovarian reserve.
• Full Blood Test, and Infective Screening

Male

• As for male, it is mainly to do infective screening and full blood tests before starting IVF.

2. Pelvic scan

• Pelvic scan is also known as vaginal scan.
• It detects any abnormalities such as fibroids, cysts and polyps inside or outside the uterus.
• Antral Follicle Count can be done through pelvic scan

3. Semen Analysis (SA)

• Before the sperm test, abstinence for 2-7 days.
• Semen examination may include: sperm count, concentration, morphology, motility, etc.
